BOOK REVIEW- Combust By K.Bromberg
Songwriter Dylan McCoy has been burned.
By her boyfriend she found in her bed . . . with someone else.
By the contract she signed that obligates her to work with him until the songs for his new album are complete.
By her agent when she asked Dylan to keep their breakup on the down-low.
When she finds herself in Sunnyville, she refuses to let her new roommate burn her too. Still . . . a rebound has never looked so good.
That’s her first thought when she sees firefighter Grady Malone.
Sexy. Charismatic. Unapologetic. He’s a man who carries his own scars—the ones on his back, the survivor’s guilt on his soul, and the fear in his heart.
When an unexpected visitor puts their roommate status to the test, will their undeniable attraction burn out, or will they both take a chance and play with fire?
Firefighter Grady Malone carries his scars not only on the outside but on the inside as well, he’s sexy, funny and unapologetic, he also suffers the pain of survivors guilt and that’s why he will never be able to commit to anyone. Song writer Dylan McCoy has just been burnt by her rock star boyfriend, needing to put some distance between them while she finishes off writing the contracted songs for his new album she finds herself becoming roommates with her brothers friend Grady. I loved this book, the characters were so lovable and their chemistry together was off the charts, how could you not fall in love with Grady? The story line was emotional yet humorous at times and the sex was so hot it set the sheets on fire. The only downside of the story was that it seemed a little too easy for Dylan to move from loving one man to another so quickly. But all over this was a great read.
BOOK REVIEW- Obsession By Nancy Chastain
I glanced up, and was filled with warmth and need all the way to my toes. Dillion was standing there, only in his boxers, arms crossed over his chest, causing his muscles to bulge. I swallowed hard, my mouth suddenly dry. He was gorgeous. When he touched me, I melted. I was in love with this man.
My God she is gorgeous, Dillion thought as he leaned against the door jamb and watched her hips sway to the music. At that moment, he knew he was in love with her.
She is mine. I watched over her as she slept. I had read her innermost thoughts. Sara will realize that she loves me, not Dillion. I will have her no matter what.
When legal assistant at a law firm in Oklahoma City Sara accidentally bumps into Dillion at a club one night she wanted to give him a piece of her mind, but she didn’t expect the instant chemistry that exploded between them that night and instead she ends up giving him a piece of her heart and they fall into an easy comfortable relationship until strange things start to happen around Sara making her feel uneasy and prey to an unknown stalker putting Dillion into protection mode he takes Sara away to his family ranch where their romance blossoms into love. I really like this book, it was such a sweet read. The characters were lovable and the story line interesting and engaging until the final twist that wasn’t expected.

Until he meets his sassy neighbor and jewelry designer Lana Kelly, Lana loves her small town and anonymity and PDA. But for the time that Matt is living next door to her the chemistry between them becomes stronger than they expected. I really liked this story both Matt and Lana are just so sweet together and their emotional connection was very natural and beautiful. The sex was very hot and steamy and the story line interesting and tender. Narrated by the brilliant and sexy duo Andi Arndt & Sebastian York.
