Book Reviews- Rebel Heir By Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward
From New York Times Bestselling authors Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, comes the first book in a new, sexy duet.
How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:
Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.
Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.
Check. Check. Check.
I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.
Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.
Especially when he’s mean to you.
Or so I thought.
Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.
That was sort of how it all started with Rush.
And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.
I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.
I wasn’t supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.
As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
Rebel Heir is the first book in the Rush Series Duet. Book Two, Rebel Heart, will release six weeks later on May, 22, 2018.
Gia an aspiring author is staying in the Hamptons in a share house over the summer and she has just snagged herself a job working as a hostess of a local bar/restaurant. Heathcliff Rushmore otherwise know as Rush is not only the bar owner but the heir to a huge part of the town that also includes the house that Gia is renting. Rush is a leather jacket wearing, tattooed bad boy with an intimidating personality until he insists on giving Gia a lift home after work one night that opens up a lot of emotional baggage for him and their relationship becomes very complicated. So apart from the two main characters falling for each other very quickly I really liked this book. The characters are very likable and the story line was unpredictable and an emotional path of twists and turns that leaves you with one hell of a cliffhanger. All over this is a great read and I can’t wait for the next one.
Book Reviews- Jilted By Sawyer Bennett
Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancé at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Soon they’re making out like teenagers again. But when a life-changing role falls into Eden’s lap, Coop just hopes she doesn’t give up on a love that’s meant to be.
Eden Goodnight went to LA to make it big as a model then an award winning actress at the cost of the relationship that she had with her high school sweetheart Cooper Mayfield. Now finding out while on a red carpet event that her fiancee has been sleeping with another woman a very embarrassed Eden returns to her family home in the small town she grew up in to escape for a while. Only when she arrives she finds Cooper already living in the house so not only does she have to put up with a scorned community who obviously hate her she also has to deal with an angry Cooper as well. But the more time they spend together the more they seem to be dropping back into the comfortable relationship they once had. But will they make the right choices this time? I really liked this book the story line was engaging, easy and romantic. The characters were both very likable and the sex was very hot. This was a lovely story of a second chance and re-connection.
Book Reviews- Promises Series Boxed set volumes 1-3 By Jessica Wood
Promise to Marry
We were best friends since as early as I could remember. We grew up together. We were next door neighbors. We shared each other’s deepest secrets. When I was thirteen, we made a pact: if we were still single by the time we were 30, we’d marry each other.
Today was my thirtieth birthday. I was single. I knew he was single too.
But we were no longer best friends, and a part of me knew that he hated me.
Promise to Keep
I’ve loved her since we were seven. We were best friends. We even made a pact to marry each other if we were both still single at thirty. I grew up thinking I would always love her for the rest of my life.
But I was proven wrong. Because the first time I made love to her turned out to be the first time I hated her. It became the first time she hurt me, and the first time I wanted nothing to do with her.
Today, nine years after the day that broke us apart, we are both thirty and single, and fate decided to intervene. I finally discovered that the reasons behind her betrayal were far different from the ones I’d created years ago in my mind.
Now I’m torn between my hatred over what she did and my undying love for the one girl who I’ve held close to my heart for most of my life.
But is the truth enough for me to forgive her?
Promise of Forever
He promised to always be my best friend. He promised to marry me if we were both still single at thirty. He promised me a forever together.
But that was before I discovered a secret that seemed to shatter everything I’d come to believe in. Had I lost him before he was ever mine? Had this secret ruined any promise of a forever together?
Promises boxed set volumes 1-3 is a story of two best friends Chloe and Jackson that travels over the years and their changing relationship from high school to late adulthood. Promises had promise for the first couple of chapters for me, then there were just so many things wrong. The characters were shallow and immature even when they were 30 year olds. And apparently they loved each other so much that it didn’t even stop either of them sleeping with everyone and anyone around them. And to be honest I didn’t mind what she did to make money but there really is a line drawn at who she did for money. Unfortunately this was such a messy read for me.
Book Reviews- Thrive By Aly Martinez
When I was nineteen years old, I was faced with a choice that changed my life.
Keep the safety of what I already knew or risk losing everything with the young, hotheaded soldier who stole my heart.
I chose the wrong man, and for seventeen years, I paid in tears, blood, and shattered dreams for that decision.
Now, there’s a man in my house, holding a gun to my head on the order of my ex-husband—given from his prison cell.
That hotheaded soldier I was too afraid to choose? He’s now a six-foot-three wall of muscle who works at the country’s most premier bodyguard agency. I’ve always wanted him, but now, I’ve never needed him more.
It’s the call I’m terrified to make.
I’m sure he still hates me… Even though I’ve never stopped loving him.
Book 2 in this series follows the romance between Jeremy an Mira who fell in love 17 years earlier, the only problem was that Mira belonged to his best friend. As Jeremy moves on to marry and have a family, Mira gets sucked in to a world full of lies and a loveless marriage until they meet again when Mira finds herself threatened by her ex husband from behind prison bars. The only man she feels that she can trust to help her is Jeremy Lark, now divorced Jeremy doesn’t want to feel anything for Mira and what she did to break his heart all those years ago until he realizes that hes always had them. I really like this book, loved the characters although I did find that their relationship sparked up a little fast after their history. The story line was exciting, filled with drama, action and lots of hot sex. This is a great read and I can’t wait for the next one.
Book Reviews- Surrender By Melody Anne
Raffaello (Rafe) Palazzo takes what he wants with no regrets. Arianna (Ari) Lynn Harlow has led a charmed life until tragedy strikes her family. He’s looking for a no-emotions attached mistress, she’s looking for redemption.
They are not a pair that should ever work, but undeniable attraction and devastating tragedies bring them together in the city by the bay where he fights to keep their relationship nothing more than an enjoyable way to meet his needs, and she battles to not lose herself in him. Spending time with Ari starts cracking the hard shell that Rafe has built around his heart, but he denies the affect she has on him until it’s too late to stop the inevitable conclusion that their relationship is headed for.
Rafe once believed in happily ever after, coming from a large Italian family. He’s got the Midas touch, since every endeavor he tries turns to gold. That all ends when his wife walks out the door and leaves him blindsided. His devastation quickly turns to steel when he decides no woman will fool him again. From that point on he treats relationships as nothing more than business transactions where both party’s come out mutually benefited.
Just when Ari has sunk to the lowest she’s ever been she finds an ad in the paper announcing a job that’s too good to be true. It turns out she’s right. She makes it through the intense rounds of interviews only to find out the job is for a mistress to the powerful Rafe Palazzo, owner of Palazzo Enterprises. Rafe gives her a day to think about whether she wants the position or not, and she’s sent on her way, only to find out her mother’s near-terminal position has taken a turn for the worse. Her mom’s only in the hospital because Ari messed up, and her mother’s the one who paid the price. Is Rafe her savior, or will he take her with him straight to the depths of hell?
After finding his wife in bed with another man Raffaello Palazzo swore off relationships, now he just takes what he wants with no emotional attachments to women, he hires them to be his mistress for a contracted time. Now he needs that position to be filled by Arianna Harlow who desperately needs money to pay for he sick mother’s medical bills and care. But will she give in to becoming a paid whore for Rafe to help her mother? I really tried with this book but there were just so many things wrong with it. The story line was so predictable and boring and the characters were the same. Even when Rafe started to soften towards Arianna I wondered why someone that was so rich and powerful would want a woman that was just plain nasty towards him no matter what he did to help her. I wanted to shout out into the pages to him “Jeez, give it up she is horrible” This was just a terrible read.
Book Reviews- Savage Prince By Meghan March
I do what I want and who I want. I don’t follow anyone’s rules—even my own.
I knew I shouldn’t touch her, but it didn’t stop me.
Didn’t stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third.
My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn’t.
But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I’m nowhere near ready to quit her yet.
I’ll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness.
Hopefully it doesn’t kill us both.
Savage Prince is book one of the Savage Trilogy, set in the same world as Ruthless King, however you do not need to read the Mount Trilogy to devour this scandalously hot new trilogy.
In a dark and dirty side of New Orleans, Temperance Ransom finds herself at a sex club and mistaken for someone else where she is also pleasured by a mysterious stranger. Vowing never to go back again and failing in this attempt three more times wanting to know more about the stranger. Running from a criminal past yet working for the wife of the boss of the underground Temperance finds herself somewhere she never wants to go back to. I am a huge fan of Meghan March and was so looking forward to reading this book, and I am not sure if its just because it was the first part of the story and it will improve but the story line didn’t really have anything going for it. The characters were ok, the sex was mediocre so unfortunately this book for me was just ok. I am hoping it will get better with more of the story.
Book Reviews- With This Man By Jodi Ellen Malpas
Jesse Ward is back in the newest novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling This Man series!
Life is good for Jesse “The Lord” Ward. Perfect, actually. He still has the charm, he’s in great shape, and he still reduces his wife, Ava, to a pool of desire with a mere look. He’s in full control, just how he likes it.
But Jesse’s perfect world falls apart when a terrible accident lands Ava in the hospital with a life-threatening head injury. Devastated and angry, he feels like his entire existence hangs in the balance. He cannot survive without this woman’s love. So when she finally comes around, his shaking world begins to level out. But his nightmare doesn’t end there. It’s only just begun. Because his wife can’t remember the last sixteen years of her life. That’s all of him. All of their time together. He is a stranger to her.
Now Jesse must do whatever it takes to find her memories . . . and help her fall madly, passionately in love with him all over again.
This is a very much anticipated 4th book in this series, and to be honest I will never get enough of this series. In this book we pick up some 12 years later where life is good for Jesse “The Lord” Ward and his wife Ava and their twins. After a horrific car accident leaves Ava with no memory of her life with control freak Jesse Ward or her two children. So Jesse takes Ava on a journey into the past to visit their beginning, their love and their unique need for each other in the hope of bringing back her memory. All I can say is WOW, I absolutely loved it, the characters are so lovable and endearing, the story line powerful, enthralling, addictive and filled with so much emotion that it bleeds off the pages and into your soul. This book had it all and much more including plenty of sensual, hot sex. This book for me has been the best read so far for 2018, an absolutely brilliant and moreish read….End Of.
Book Reviews- XO Zach By Kendall Ryan
The first time we met was at a party.
Your ex arrived to show off the person he’d left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date.
I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty–and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days.
The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master’s degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing.
The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact.
I know I’m crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that’s the only reaction I can get out of you, I’ll gladly take it.
You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week.
I think I’m falling for you, and I know it’s wrong. I know that I’m only supposed to be the adviser to your program and nothing more, but here’s the thing. I think you’re falling for me too.
Single mom to a seven year old boy, Poppy has just gone back to university to do her masters degree in poetry and finds herself at a party, locked into a kiss with a sexy stranger while shes trying to hide from her ex boyfriend. The next time Poppy meets Zach is the next day on campus, in his office, when she discovers that he is her new advisor and mentor. Both trying to fight the chemistry that’s brewing between them due to the stringent campus rules on relationships between students and tutors, they seem to be losing the battle every time they meet. This book started off really interesting with loads of promise until about half way through. Then for me it started to drag on and on in a circle and got pretty boring. The characters were likable, the sex mediocre but the story line just became too sickly sweet and stale.
Book Reviews- Baby Daddy By Kendall Ryan
We met in a trapped elevator.
Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.
I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?
At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.
After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.
But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.
This full-length standalone contains a hot, swoonworthy hero, lots of playful banter and some hot baby-making s-e-x! Enjoy.
When Jenna and Emmett get stuck in an elevator, they are hit with an instant spark between them. Jenna is in the elevator on her way to a sperm bank to fulfill her dream of having a baby on her own with no strings attached, now that she owns her own book store and is settled. Emmett is in the elevator on his way to his office and trying to deal with a nightmare of an owner of a book store that he wants to purchase. Little did they know when they agreed for Emmett to become Jenna’s sperm donor that have more in common than they first thought. I did like this book the story line was very predictable but sweet. I just found it hard to believe that a powerful CEO of his own company, who doesn’t do relationships or wants ties to a woman would knowingly get a strange woman pregnant. Or that a strong, confident business woman like Jenna would confess her baby plans to a total stranger that she’s just met having being trapped in an elevator with him. It just seemed way to fast of a complete personality change for both characters. The sex was hot and Emmett turned into such a sweet character. This was an okay, pleasant read.
Book Review- Fraternize (Players game #1) By Rachel Van Dyken
Emerson just made her dream come true as a professional cheerleader for her favorite pro football team. But even though the plus-size athlete is breaking down boundaries, she still has to contend with the massive rulebook. Carbs? Nope. Chocolate? Definitely not. Still, Emerson loves her curves, and she’ll rock the hell out of this job even if it kills her. Except for one mandate that is easier read than done…
No fraternizing with the players.
Problem one is Miller Quinton: Emerson’s first love, first sex, and the guy who still ignites her daydreams and R-rated fantasies. Thrown back together, Miller and Emerson feel the undeniable pull of passion again, even if the conflict that tore them apart seems insurmountable. Then there’s way-too-sexy Grant Sanchez. He has a serious reputation with the ladies, and when it comes to winning someone he wants, he doesn’t let anyone stand in his way.
Now Emerson is breaking every rule in the manual. But what she doesn’t know is that she’s part of a wicked little game—one that could steal both her dream and her heart.
Emerson Rodner had finally landed her dream job as the newest member of the cheer squad for NFL team Bellevue Bucks. It has always been her dream to cheer for the Bucks while her childhood sweetheart and BFF Miller Quinton played on the field. But that dream was broken six years earlier when Miller had to move to the other side of the country, a move that left them both brokenhearted and resentful towards each other for many years to come. Now Miller is back to play for the Bucks and where he also ends up fighting in a love triangle with fellow team mate Grant Sanchez for Emerson’s love. A few chapters into this book I didn’t think I was going to like it book as its not my usual type of story as it appeared that Emerson was leading both men on and playing games with their hearts, but the more I read the more I realized that it was much deeper than that, it was about two people learning to forgive and move on. I loved the characters, loved the hot sex and loved the story line. This turned into a diamond in the rough for me and a very deep, emotional read.
Book Reviews- The Contract By Melanie Moreland
A tyrant by day, a playboy by night. That is the reputation that precedes Richard VanRyan. He lives life the way he wants, no concern for the opinion of others. He cares for no one, is completely unrepentant, and he has no desire to change his ways.
Katharine Elliott works under Richard as his PA. She despises him and his questionable ethics, but endures all the garbage he sends her way, because she needs the job. Her end goal is far more important than the daily abuse and demands she tolerates from her nasty tyrant of a boss.
Until the day, he asks her for something she never expected. A new role with a personal contract — fiancée instead of PA.
What happens when two people who loathe each other, have to live together and act as though they are madly in love?
That’s what happens.
Can the power of love really change a person?
Will they survive the contract?
What do you do when the one person you hate the most becomes the one person you can’t live without?
Richard VanRyan is a tyrant, playboy by night and an asshole by day especially to his meek and mild PA Katherine Elliott, he treats her like dirt. That is until he needs her to pretend to be his fiancee in order for him to score a job with a different company. Needing money to support her elderly, sick aunt Katherine agree’s to go along with Richard’s plan until things start to snowball into even bigger lies and a wedding. This was an Ok read, the characters are complete opposites and I just couldn’t connect with either. Katherine was sickly sweet and he was a complete bastard. The story line was very predictable as opposites attract and hate turns into love. It was a pleasant read until maybe the last eight chapters then it just dribbled on and became boring. And unfortunately even the sex couldn’t save it very mediocre and drab.
Book Reviews- Combust By K.Bromberg
Songwriter Dylan McCoy has been burned.
By her boyfriend she found in her bed . . . with someone else.
By the contract she signed that obligates her to work with him until the songs for his new album are complete.
By her agent when she asked Dylan to keep their breakup on the down-low.
When she finds herself in Sunnyville, she refuses to let her new roommate burn her too. Still . . . a rebound has never looked so good.
That’s her first thought when she sees firefighter Grady Malone.
Sexy. Charismatic. Unapologetic. He’s a man who carries his own scars—the ones on his back, the survivor’s guilt on his soul, and the fear in his heart.
When an unexpected visitor puts their roommate status to the test, will their undeniable attraction burn out, or will they both take a chance and play with fire?
Firefighter Grady Malone carries his scars not only on the outside but on the inside as well, he’s sexy, funny and unapologetic, he also suffers the pain of survivors guilt and that’s why he will never be able to commit to anyone. Song writer Dylan McCoy has just been burnt by her rock star boyfriend, needing to put some distance between them while she finishes off writing the contracted songs for his new album she finds herself becoming roommates with her brothers friend Grady. I loved this book, the characters were so lovable and their chemistry together was off the charts, how could you not fall in love with Grady? The story line was emotional yet humorous at times and the sex was so hot it set the sheets on fire. The only downside of the story was that it seemed a little too easy for Dylan to move from loving one man to another so quickly. But all over this was a great read.
Book Reviews- Dear Bridget, I Want You By Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland
I’m writing this letter because it’s highly doubtful I’ll ever garner the courage to say this to your face.
So, here goes.
We’re totally wrong for each other. You’re the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I’m just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England.
But here’s the thing… for some bloody reason, I can’t stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.
I want you.
The only reason I’m even admitting all of this to you right now is because I don’t believe it’s one-sided. I notice your eyes when you look at me, too. And as crass as I appear when we’re joking around about sex, my attraction to you is not a joke.
So, what’s the purpose of this note? I guess it’s a reminder that we’re adults, that sex is healthy and natural, and that you can find me just through the door past the kitchen. More specifically, it’s to let you know that I’m leaving said door cracked open from now on in case you’d like to visit me in the middle of the night sometime.
No questions asked.
Think about it.
Whatever you choose.
It’s doubtful I’ll even end up sliding this letter under your door anyway.
Dr. Simon Hogue is a carefree British Doctor finishing out his residency in the US before he goes back to London. Bridget Valentine is a widowed single parent who happens to be a nurse at the same hospital. After a brief encounter with the sexy British Doctor when Simon was working at a previous Hospital that involved the removing of a fish hook from Bridget’s bottom, They are both shocked when Bridget’s BFF asks if a long time childhood friend of hers can rent a room at Bridget’s house only to find out that the friend is Dr. Simon Hogue. I really liked this book, the characters were so lovable and gentle. The story line was a predictable romance but with a shocking twist to it. This story is such a lovely, slow developing romance with some very hot sex involved, it was such a good read.
Book Reviews- Reed (Cold fury hockey #10) By Sawyer Bennett
Hockey season may be over, but in New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett’s new novel, a Carolina Cold Fury heartbreaker is heating things up off the ice and eager to score with the girl next door.
No one skates like Reed Olson. In the off-season, no one plays like him either. After back-to-back championships, Reed craves a different kind of action. Good thing there’s no shortage of women ready for a summer fling with a sports star. Reed has a specific type—blond, busty, not too bright—and a little black book full of options. But when his bed starts rocking, it’s his unexpectedly sexy neighbor who comes knocking. And the brainy beauty is impossible to ignore.
Josie Ives desperately needs something her celebrity neighbor obviously doesn’t: sleep. His headboard banging against the wall is keeping her up at night—not to mention inspiring some very naughty dreams. Reed is everything she imagined: a little too good-looking, with a body that puts Greek gods to shame. But he’s also funny and charming—a tempting combination. Josie’s the opposite of his type, yet the chemistry between them is undeniable. Their friendship certainly has its benefits, and it’s heating up to be so much more.
|In the off season after back to back championships with the NHL, Reed Olson is craving a different kind of action that includes plenty of hot sex with a line of tall, busty blondes in his bed. That is until he meets his neighbor Josie Ives a beautiful intelligent doctor who works long hours and is the total opposite to Reed’s normal type of woman. Becoming friends they enjoy sharing each others company until the chemistry between them causes them to start sharing a bed as well. I really loved this book, Reed is so sweet, funny and very charming and an easy character to get lost in, they are both very lovable characters and the story line is so relaxed and comfortable. Lots of hot sex now I am looking forward to Merrick’s story.|

Then the chase is on and Eli is relentless in his pursuit of the woman who has stolen his heart, he just needs her to feel the same. Loved it, such a sweet, humorous and flowing romance, very likable characters, the story line was engaging and enchanting with some very hot sex this was a very easy and relaxing read.

Not being able to resist the temptation of taking Avril to his bed where they begin to explore each other and ultimately pull Andrew in for a threesome which they all enjoy until feelings start to get involved. I really liked the characters all very different from each other giving something more to the relationship. The story line was interesting and the sex was very pantie wetting and hot. Personally there were 2 scenes in the book that made me cringe a little but all over this was a good hot read.

Book Review- Wicked Wish(Wicked horse Vegas#2) By Sawyer Bennett
Jorinda Pearce thought she did everything right – graduated from college, married her long-time sweetheart, established a career. But what does she have to show for it now? A degree she doesn’t use, a job she hates, and an ex-husband that broke her heart.
Looking for a long overdue adventure, Jorie takes a walk on the wild side and attends a masquerade event at The Wicked Horse Vegas. It’s exactly the escape she’s looking for, and even better, she can explore anonymously. Drawn to the man masked in black leather with the body of a god, Jorie finds the greatest pleasures of her life at the hands of a stranger.
Walsh Brooks is the most sought after man in The Wicked Horse. Sex is nothing but a game to him and he’s the type that will always leave at the end of the night without looking back. Unfortunately for Walsh, there’s no way he can walk away from the mysterious green-eyed beauty behind the mask of sapphire feathers, because he knows exactly who she is.
Jorie is his best friend’s little sister and there’s not another woman in the world that’s more off limits.
Jorinda Pearce has just split up with her husband so she heads to Vegas to stay with her BFF who talks Jorinda into going to the Wicked horse sex club with her for some fun and that’s exactly what she needs right now to prove to her ex husband that she’s not a failure in the bedroom. Tonight at the Wicked horse it’s mask night and casino owner Walsh Brooks can’t wait to try out the new sex machine his BFF has designed for him on a hot woman tonight, only when he’s deep inside this mysterious, masked woman he realizes that this woman is not only his BFF’s little sister but that he’s known her all his life. I found this book a little disappointing compared to the first book, unfortunately the story line was very predictable and pretty corny in some places and I just felt sorry for Walsh, he started off being alpha and turned clueless. Jorinda was so annoying with her needy and pushy behavior she actually turned into a stalker who had two men dancing for her attentions and using them both to see who could give her the most. Aside from that the sex very hot.
Book Reviews- Sex, not Love By Vi Keeland
My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards.
We met at a wedding—him sitting on the groom’s side, me sitting on the bride’s. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction.
I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me.
We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.
I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby. Our attraction hadn’t dulled one bit. After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time. So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home.
I’d thought it was funny, until the following week when he rang the bell at Mom’s house for Sunday night dinner. The crazy, gorgeous man had won over my mother and taken an eight-week assignment in my city. He proposed we spend that time screwing each other out of our systems.
Eight weeks of mind-blowing sex with no strings attached? What did I have to lose?
Nothing, I thought.
It’s just sex, not love.
But you know what they say about the best laid plans…
When Natalia Rossi meets Hunter Delucia at her BFF’s wedding their chemistry is explosive but Natalia has baggage, an ex husband serving time in prison and a 15 year old step daughter that hates her. Even though the pull towards Hunter is strong she’s just not prepared to take the risk even when they meet again at the birth of her BFF’s first child one year later, that’s when Hunter takes matters into his own hands and turns up on her doorstep with a proposal. Eight weeks of sex, not love while he’s working on a project in Natalia’s home town, and so the days of mind numbing wonderful sex begins that is until their time comes to an end and Natalia ends up falling hard for Hunter. The only thing is Hunter has a secret that stops him from ever getting involved with anyone, even the woman who has stolen his heart and soul. Loved it what a beautiful and engaging romance between these two lovable characters, the story line was so enchanting, engaging and interesting with such a strong sexual chemistry between Natalia and Hunter. This is an awesome read.
Book Reviews- Wicked Favor By Sawyer Bennett
New York Times bestselling author, Sawyer Bennett, is happy to introduce a new Wicked Horse club in Las Vegas and you’re cordially invited to attend the grand opening…
As the owner of The Wicked Horse, an elite sex club located along the Vegas Strip, Jerico Jameson never spends the night alone. Gorgeous, ripped, and totally alpha, Jerico doesn’t grant favors and will rarely give you the time of day—unless he wants you in his bed. So when the sister of his sworn enemy shows up asking for help, saying no should be easy. But when Jerico takes one look at her and sees an opportunity to help this beautiful woman while exacting revenge on her brother, he’s not about to pass that up.
Beaten and bruised, Trista Barnes is running out of options, and Jerico is her last chance to get out of the mess she’s in. She doesn’t know why Jerico despises her brother so much, but as long as he can help her, she doesn’t care. Jerico offers her safety while opening her up to a sinful world she never knew existed.
As she succumbs to Jerico’s erotic charm, Trista lets herself fall into the wicked world of guilt free pleasure with no regrets. Under his strong alpha hand, she blooms, and so does Jerico’s possessiveness. But what happens when Trista finds out she was a pawn in Jerico’s game all along, and that the price for his favor was steeper than she ever imagined – her heart.
The Wicked Horse Sex club franchise has moved to Las Vegas and Jericho Jameson is its proud owner, and what more could a man want? He’s single, Alpha, sexy and he can have sex with anyone at anytime he wants with no commitment or strings and never with the same woman twice, well that is until Trista Barries walks in to the Wicked Horse needing Jericho’s help. Trista has been sent by her brother who she thinks is a good friend of jericho’s for a loan that Jericho intends to give her although he wants her to repay it with her body and little does she know that her brother is Jericho’s biggest enemy. I loved the Wicked Horse series and this series is just as tantalizing and hot, great characters with an interesting and a somewhat predictable story line but with a twist. And the sex is very dirty and very wicked.
Book Reviews- The Baby Maker By Lili Valente
For six generations, the women of wine country have had a saying: don’t bang a Hunter man unless you want a bun in your oven.
Yeah, well. I’ve got a saying too: no thanks. The last thing I need is baby makes three. My business is expanding and the only thing I’m interested in getting knocked up is my bottom line.
But then one night Emma Haverford makes me an offer I can’t refuse—she backs away from the land I have my eye on in exchange for a favor…
A big, fat, baby making favor…
When I hear women have gotten pregnant shaking hands with Hunter men, I know I need Dylan Hunter’s…ahem, special skills…way more than I need to expand my vineyard.
I’m ready to give my heart to a child and I’m tired of waiting for my late-to-the-party Prince Charming to make my dreams come true. So I promise Dylan—three months of hot, heavy, baby-making s-e-x and then I’m out of his hair forever.
But what if when it comes time to say good-bye, all I want to do is keep bottling up more memories with this big-hearted man?
When Emma Haverford moves to the country from Silicone Valley for a more relaxed and laid back lifestyle while running her own vineyard she didn’t realize how sexy her neighbor was. And when Dylan Hunter wants a piece of her land to use for his own business idea Emma decides to make Dylan a proposition of her own and see if the rumors about the Hunter men is true, the rumor being that a woman only has to shake the hand of a Hunter man and she’s pregnant. Dylan wants land and Emma wants a baby with no strings attached, should be easy right? Only thing is neither one of them expected to have such strong chemistry while making a baby. I liked it, the story line was engaging and sweet and the characters were very likeable and the sex was pretty hot to go with it.
Book Reviews- His Secret Son By Brenda Jackson
The Texas rancher and navy SEAL who fathered Bristol Lockett’s son died a hero’s death…or so she was told. Yet when Laramie “Coop” Cooper strolls into her exhibit at an art gallery three years later, he’s very much alive—and still making her pulse zing. The all-consuming chemistry between them is as undeniable now as it was then, but Bristol won’t risk her heart—or their son’s. Little does Bristol know he’s determined to win over his unexpected family at any cost!
When artist Bristol Locket had three days of pleasure in Paris with Navy Seal Laramie Cooper she didn’t expect to find herself pregnant with his baby, she also didn’t expect to find out that Cooper had been killed on a mission when she tried to contact him. Three years later Laramie unexpectedly bumps into Bristol by chance at one of her art shows and she is stunned to learn that he is still alive, and Laramie is equally stunned to find out that he is a father. This is a sweet Harlequin Romance that unfortunately I found pretty boring and very predictable. The characters were drab and lifeless and the sex was non-existant, this may suit readers who like the older style romances but it wasn’t for me.
BOOK REVIEW- A Wildly Seductive Night By Lauren Blakely
Once upon a time there was a very happy couple who had wild, hot, passionate, seductive nights every day, and every night. But that’s not all they had between them. They had love, and trust, and respect. He adored her and treated her like a queen, and he also f*&ked her like a porn star. She was so very good to him, and made his life complete. Their sexy marriage was the stuff dirty fairytales were made of. But there was one thing they didn’t have. One thing they both secretly wanted. One thing better than pearls…
In this short novella we re-visit the romance between Julia and Clay Nichols, now married with a 6 year old daughter Julia and Clay take us on a hot, sexy and wild journey of their continued and active sex life. Loved it, such a hot, yet very sweet story line and great to catch up with these two lovable characters again. Simple, yet sweet with lots of dirty, hot, wild sex.
Book Reviews- The V Card By Lauren Blakely& Lili Valenti
When you think about how easy it is to lose keys, phones, sunglasses and your dignity on social media, you might figure it’d be a cinch for me to ditch my V Card.
You’d be wrong.
At 25, I run a successful business, live in a fantastic apartment, and have fabulous friends to go out with any night of the week. And yet I’m still a card-carrying member of a club I don’t want to belong to anymore. Good thing I know just the man for the deflowering job—my brother’s business partner and best friend.
Graham Campbell is charming, smart, and, I’m told, oh-so-skilled in the sack. As long as I keep my eyes on the prize, there’s no way this pluck-the-flower project could possibly complicate matters.
Work and pleasure. As the CEO of a fast-growing company, I’ve been enjoying both to the fullest. What do I do when the board throws me for an unexpected loop so I can keep my business in my hands? I enlist the help of my best friend’s little sister since she holds a big stake in the company. But then I learn there’s another big stake she wants.
The one between my legs.
I can do this. Seven nights to teach her everything I know in the bedroom. There’s no way I’ll fall for her, even though she’s earning top grades in every single sinfully sexy lesson. And turns out I’m learning something too. The trouble is I don’t have the answer key to what to do when I fall hard for her.
And that throws a whole new hitch in my plans.
CEO of the fast growing lingerie company Adored Graham Campbell needs a favor from his BFF CJ, he needs her to help him keep control of his company and take it in to the future. CJ agrees to help him as long as he agrees to help her with her own little problem, you see CJ is still a virgin at 25 years old and she wants Graham to deflower her and teach her the art of seduction. I know the story line was very predictable but I really liked it. The characters were so lovable and the slow developing relationship between the two was so sweet and as usual the sex was very hot.
Book Reviews- Little Black Book By Tabatha Vargo& Melissa Andrea
My name’s Sebastian Black, and I want to buy you. I could have any woman I want, but I choose you.
NO RELATIONSHIP, JUST SEX.
Here’s my offer…
I’ll put your name in my LITTLE BLACK BOOK, and when I want you, I’ll call you. When I call, you’re going to come, in more ways than one. It will be mutually pleasurable for both of us.
There are only two rules:
DON’T EVER DENY ME.
DON’T FALL IN LOVE.
If you do either, I’ll remove you from my book and payment stops.
Do we have an understanding?
Sebastian Black is your typical, alpha club owner who also owns a little black book full of women who he calls to service him with no strings attached because Mr. Black does not do love or relationships, just sex he doesn’t even want to know their names only the cartoon names that he gives to them. Until he meets Rosslyn Harris who is living in a car with her 13 year old brother and gets a job working as a waitress at Mr. Black’s club, but Sebastian wants more of Rosslyn than she ever realizes and that’s why he has to fire her so he can take her to his bed and add her name to his little black book. The story line was predictable until the secret twist at the end that was unexpected but that was all crammed into the last few chapters. The sex was really hot and the characters were typical of this kind of story.
Book Reviews- Mr. Match By J.A Huss
Oliver Shrike thinks ahead. He likes to make lists and tick off boxes. He plans, he plots, and he’s got everything under control.
Until one day he sees my videos on his dating site. The private erotic videos I make just for him.
When I’m looking at the camera I can practically see his face. Hear the internal arguments. Feel his desire.
Because I’m that kind of woman.
You should delete my videos, Oliver Shrike. It’s your job to keep that dating site on the up and up.
But you don’t, do you?
You watch them. You get off to them. You crave them.
Every week I make a new one with you in mind. I’ve got you addicted to my body, my moans, my secrets.
I’ve hooked you now, Mr. Match. You’ve been in control for way too long and this is where it ends.
Mr. Match is the last book in the Mister Series. NOT a standalone book.
In this book in the series we follow the secret life of Mr. Match and his long kept love of Katya who disappeared from his life 4 years ago and he’s been patiently waiting for her return and now the wait is over because Katya is back and this is where all the stories of the previous mister series come together in an exciting, action, suspense filled drama. I loved it, loved all the characters and the hot, steamy sex. I loved the story line it was interesting and addictive, the only problem that I had with this story is that it was hard to keep track of and I got a little lost because the story was so intricate in it’s plots from the other books and you needed all the little pieces to fit together. So my advice is to read them in one whole sequence because I left a too long of a gap in between reading the books.

Getting Rough is intended for mature audiences.
This is the second book in this series that continues to follow the turbulent and sometimes hilarious and competitive relationship between two top sports agents who fall into an unexpected love while they are both competing for a partnership at their agency. Loved it! Love the characters and their chemistry, loved the story line that includes not just Shaw Mathews and Cassidy Whalen but also Cassidy’s ex boyfriend Casey Michaels, her family and all of their shared misfit bunch of friends that they hang out with at the Monkey business bar, this is such an enjoyable read and has the best sex scenes ever.

Shaw being the total a**hole that he is decides to seduce the ice queen Cassidy and eliminating the competition, but Cassidy is ready with a plan of her own to take down the alpha hunk with her own seduction. I really liked this book, the characters were both strong and likable and the story line was an interesting ride between the turbulent relationship between Shaw and Cassidy but also the relationships that she shared with her close group of friends and her family. I would have to say with all the books that I have read this one would have to have the most detailed and hottest sex scenes ever, can’t wait to get stuck into book two.
Book Reviews- Bodyguard (Hollywood A-list #2) By CD Reiss
Protecting a celebrity in Hollywood isn’t easy, but protecting Emily could break his heart.
Emily enjoys all the perks of fame—the parties, the glamour, the tours—but they’ve brought her back to the attention of a dangerous ex-boyfriend hell bent on getting her back.
Enter Carter Kincaid, a bodyguard so crushingly sexy he takes her breath away.
Carter’s the best in the business and Emily is—professionally speaking—off-limits. But when it comes to stirring his desires, she’s hitting all the right notes. What’s happening between them is so hot it could get both of them burned. As Emily’s past gets closer, Carter is willing to break every rule of the job to save her. But letting Emily into his life also means letting her in on the secrets of his own past. For both of them, falling in love could be the greatest risk of all.
Carter Kincaid is a bodyguard to pop diva Darlene McKenna and her best friend Emily is her choreographer, Emily once herself a raising star gave it all away for a boyfriend who turned out to be a total nightmare and now Emily’s ex has become her stalker and the very private life of Carter Kincaid is going to get turned upside down when he feels the need to protect Emily. Carter has a hard time trying to separate business from pleasure because he has a secret life that he’s having a hard time sharing with Emily causing more problems between the two. I am a huge CD Reiss fan and I did like this book although for me the instant attraction and the story line was very predictable. I loved Carter’s character of being the strong, protective family man that he was, unfortunately I just couldn’t connect with Emily’s character she was very needy and had it all but thought she had nothing, great hot sex scenes.
Book Reviews- Sinful Empire By Meghan March
What’s mine, I keep, and that includes Keira Kilgore.
It’s no longer enough to have her in my debt. No longer enough to own her body.
I want something more.
She can try to resist, but I’ll never give her up.
Nothing will keep us apart.
Not her. Not my enemies. No one.
Her debt will only be paid one way—with her heart.
Sinful Empire is the third and final book in the Mount Trilogy.
This third book in the series continues the turbulent and rocky road of romance between seven sins distillery owner Keira Kilgore and the dirty ruthless underground boss Lockland Mount. The story line in this book ramps up with more action and drama and of course there is a lot of hot sex. The characters seem to evolve and change into opposites in this book, Mount seems to become more human an emotionally attached to Keira and keira seems to change into a tough and rough underground bosses woman and throws away all of her previous thoughts and beliefs out of the window. But over-all this was an interesting and exciting read and a very interesting relationship to follow.
BOOK REVIEW- Cuffed By K.Bromberg
“I hate you. I never want to see you again.”
Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again.
Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past.
But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it.
What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right?
I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves.
That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up.
Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story.
I’ll give her the one night she asks for—like that’s a hardship—but when it comes to letting her walk away after, she has another thing coming. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go this time without a fight.
Emmy Reeves suffered a brutal childhood that saw her taken away from her home town and friends and put her and her mum on a gypsy like pathway growing up, Now Emmy has moved back to her childhood home of Sunnyville to try and settle down and put down some roots. Emmy has always loved the more exciting things in life and nothing clears her head more than jumping out of a plane and letting the wind blow away her troubles, that’s why she want’s to buy the local skydiving school, after being away from Sunnyville for the last twenty years Emmy finds not much has changed until she bumps into her old BFF Grant Malone who has certainly grown into a handsome, sexy police officer. This is a story of two childhood friends who were torn apart by brutality and try to reconnect now as adults. I loved it, the characters were exciting and lovable, the story line was interesting and very thought provoking and the sex was very hot. Just remember when your reading this K.Bromberg book to keep your head up and wings out.
Book Reviews- Darker By E.L James
E L James revisits the world of Fifty Shades with a deeper and darker take on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the globe.
Their scorching, sensual affair ended in heartbreak and recrimination, but Christian Grey cannot get Anastasia Steele out of his mind, or his blood. Determined to win her back, he tries to suppress his darkest desires and his need for complete control, and to love Ana on her own terms.
But the horrors of his childhood still haunt him, and Ana’s scheming boss, Jack Hyde, clearly wants her for himself. Can Christian’s confidant and therapist, Dr. Flynn, help him face down his demons? Or will the possessiveness of Elena, his seducer, and the deranged devotion of Leila, his former submissive, drag Christian down into the past?
And if Christian does win Ana back, can a man so dark and damaged ever hope to keep her?
So I don’t think I need to give you a blurb of this book as we all know that this is Christians POV and honestly I think these are better than the original Books. I had this on audiobook and it was narrated by Zachary Webber who was a brilliant choice for Christian he puts so much emotion and personality into to bringing us right to the heart of this character. Needless to say I loved it, it was 18 hours of pure pleasure and I know there is a bit of chatter and hatred going around about these books and yes most authors hate that one sentence of “Oh is your book like 50 shades?” (groan) “No” but personally I think the real story gets a little lost amongst the hot B&D sex and the alpha dominant billionaire because the real story for me is about that little boy who sat by his dead mothers body on the floor and how he was able to cope with an abusive childhood and a huge amount of issues until he meets Anna who is his total opposite and together they seem to learn and take from each other just what they need. So take it from me this is so worth listening to on audiobook.
Dirty (Dive Bar #1) By Kylie Scott
The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Finding out it’s with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.
Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she’d marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he’s all wrong-maybe it’s time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.
After all, what’s wrong with getting dirty?
After finding out on her wedding day that her groom is having an affair with his best man Lydia Green escapes over a six foot fence and climbs through the open window of the house next door, only to be found by the owner Vaughn Hewson musician turned barman at his sisters bar called the Dive. Vaughn is the complete opposite to the Mr. Right that Lydia has always been looking for but when the sparks quickly ignite between the two Lydia starts to think that maybe she needs to try her luck with a Mr. Wrong. Unfortunately I just couldn’t get into this book the relationship was too comfortable way too fast, the characters were humorous at times, the sex was ok but the story line was quite boring. It kind of made me wonder if Lydia was just an average looking woman would Vaughn have called the cops and had her arrested for break and entering?
Book Reviews- Defense By Sandi Lynn
Betrayal. The pain and rage that consumed me was unbearable. My perfect reality had become my hurtful one. Loss of illusion settled inside me and constricted the air I breathed. I felt as if my entire life was a lie. Fresh out of law school, I needed a new start and to put the pieces of my life back together. When I left Boston and moved to New York, I met Luca Russo, a high powered, sexy attorney who liked control. He took me under his wing and did things for me no other man had ever done. Everything comes with a price, and mine was falling for a man who couldn’t return my affection. Then one night tragedy struck and he needed my help. That was the night I became his defense.
There wasn’t anyone or anything I couldn’t control. I thrived on it. It made me who I was. Some called me ruthless because I played dirty in the courtroom, and some called me a man-whore because I liked to sleep with women but refused to give them anything more. I was a thirty-year-old man with the world at his fingertips. I had a successful career that I loved, a luxury apartment on Park Avenue, and the company of any beautiful woman I wanted at any time. Then Ariana Williams walked into my firm and left me breathless. The chemistry between us was undeniable. But I had a past and a secret I never wanted her to know, so I had to walk away. Then one tragic night I needed her, and now she holds the fate of my life in her hands.
Ariana Williams fresh out of law school and on the brink of taking her bar exam leaves her family home when she finds out they have been keeping a secret from her for her whole life. Needing a new start Ariana moves to New York meeting up with an old BFF who gets Ariana a job as a temporary secretary at the law firm that she works for. High powered lawyer Luca Russo takes Ariana under his wing and arranges not only for somewhere for her to live but also for her to take her bar exam then hires her as his own attorney when he is framed for murder. I have read other books by this author and really enjoyed them, but this book started off with promise that quickly spiraled into a ridiculous, immature relationship between an arrogant alpha who buys Ariana’s attentions and she takes it all. The sex was mediocre, the characters were really annoying, shallow and immature and the story line was predictable and boring.

He says he wants me. He says I’m the One. But he also thinks he’ll break my heart, one piece at a time until it’s gone.
Lana Heyworth is on a mission to save her ailing fathers car racing team which also consists of her 3 older brothers and is in need of some new blood. After seeing the promising talent of street car racer, Racer Tate in action Lana sweet talks him into driving for their team on their tour around the world. As soon as racer sets his eyes on Lana all he wants is her, forever.
I have been following this series all the way through and have loved every book so it pains me to say that this book was a huge disappointment. The characters were weak and at times way over the top with their actions and decisions and so sickly sweet, the sex was hot and plenty of it but the story line was mediocre and predictable.
Book Reviews- Hot As Puck By Lili Valente
I am the world’s biggest dating failure. We’re talking my last date went home with our waitress kind of failure.
But I have an ace in the back pocket of my mom jeans–my sexy-as-sin best friend, NHL superstar forward, Justin Cruise.
Justin owes me favors dating back to seventh grade, long before he became a hotshot with a world famous…stick. So in return for my undying platonic loyalty, all I want is an easy-peasy crash course on how to be a sex goddess.
How hard can it be?
I have never been so hard in my life.
The things I want to do to my sweet, kindergarten-teaching, mitten-crocheting best friend Libby Collins are ten different kinds of wrong. Maybe twenty.
But I’m a firm believer in teaching by example, and by the end of our first lesson, we’ve graduated to a hands on approach to her education: my hands all over her, her hands all over me, and her hot mouth melting beneath mine as I prove to her there isn’t a damned thing wrong with the way she kisses.
Libby Collins, the sweet kindergarten teacher has been friends with NHL superstar Justin Cruise since they were kids, but Libby has a problem her dating skills are terrible and now she wants Justin to teach her how to date successfully. Justin is happy to oblige his friend although he is also a firm believer of the hands on approach, and once these two get their hands on each other there is a chemical explosion that neither expected. I really like this book it was a very sweet but hot read, the relationship between the characters was a beautiful friendship that turns into a hot love affair that works in a wonderful and humorous way. The story line is engaging and funny with lots of sex and hot crocheting tips.
Book Reviews- All About The D By Lex Martin & Leslie McAdam
I’m known for being formal. Meticulous. Professional.
So you’d never suspect I spend my nights photographing my impressive junk for a NSFW blog. Don’t roll your eyes. I’m not bragging. I have millions of followers who’ll tell you they live for my posts.
I’m like a superhero, saving humanity one dick pic at a time.
Except leading a double life means I need someone to help me protect my anonymity, so that no one, especially my family, ever discovers my online celebrity.
When I call one of the most respected law firms in town, I expect quality legal advice and confidentiality. Not a sinfully sexy attorney whose dangerous curves and soul-piercing gray eyes make me want to personally demonstrate my particular skill set.
I shouldn’t be tempted.
Especially when she knows all of my best-kept secrets. But everyone has a breaking point. And I’ve met mine.
* All About the D is a full-length standalone and FREE on Kindle Unlimited. Due to adult situations and sexual content, it’s recommended for readers over the age of 18.
When lawyer Evie is contacted by a prospective client looking for representation, she has to think hard, you see Joshua is a blogger with a huge following on his blog named “All about the D”. What started out as a dare turned into a popular site where he anonymously and artfully posts pictures of his “Big D”, now Josh has been approached by a sex toy company wanting to cash in on his fame with a lucrative deal, which is great, except Josh is from a very prominent family and he really needs to protect his and their identity in the process and that’s where Evie comes in. I would have to say at the beginning of this book I thought the subject was a little shallow but it turned out to be such an entertaining and hilarious read. The comedy between these two characters was great and the story line was interesting, and the sex was pretty hot too. This is a great romantic comedy.

Loved it, total pure passion and depth to this story line it took me in so deep I didn’t want to escape. The characters are so emotionally connected and vulnerable and so easy to love. Narrated by Zach Webber and Andi Arndt this is such a great read.

Book Reviews- Drunk Dial By Penelope Ward
It seemed like a good idea at the time. Look up Landon Roderick, that boy from childhood whom I’d never been able to forget—even though he so easily forgot about me—and call him.
Then again, anything sounds like a good idea when you’ve had a little too much wine before bed, right? It was supposed to be just a quick, meaningless, prank call. Instead, I went off on him—unloading thirteen years of pent-up emotions.
I didn’t think he’d call me back.
I certainly could never have anticipated the weeks of sexually tense phone conversations that followed as I got to know the man he’d become.
Turned out, Landon had never really forgotten me, either. That special connection we had was still there. I opened up to him, but there were also things about me he didn’t know. And he had his own secrets.
Over the countless hours we talked on the phone, I wondered what would happen if we actually saw each other. One night, I did something impulsive again. Only this time, I went to the airport and booked a ticket to California. We were about to find out if one phone call could bring two lost souls together or if my drunk dial really was all just a big mistake.
When belly dancer Rana decides to drunk dial her childhood friend Landon Roderick to let him know how much he had hurt her feelings when he moved away when they were kids, she didn’t figure that he would start calling her back with hurt feelings of his own. So what starts out as a drunken dial mistake turns into a long distance romance between two people with a lot to hide. This story was up and down for me, it started out with great promise until Rana sends Landon a sexy picture right of the bat of just her back so I was thinking she may have terrible scars instead she turns out to be pretty shallow and vain in what she’s hiding. Then Landon tells her that he needs a photo of her front on and until she sends one there will be no more phone conversations between them, really? The sex was mediocre and unfortunately both characters were shallow and boring. The story line was pretty slow and predictable I’m afraid for me this was not one of Penelope Ward’s best.
Book Reviews- Beneath The Truth By Meghan March
I used to believe there were lines in life you don’t cross.
Don’t lie. Don’t cheat. Don’t steal.
Until I learned people don’t always practice what they preach.
I turned in my badge and gun and walked away from everything.
Then I got the call no one wants, and I’m back in New Orleans.
What I don’t expect is for her to be here too.
Another line you don’t cross?
Don’t touch your best friend’s little sister.
She’s always been off-limits.
Too bad I don’t follow the rules anymore.
**May absolutely be read as a standalone!**
Beneath the truth had an explosive beginning literally and an emotional explosive ending. When former detective Rhett Hennessy returns home to find his family home has gone up in explosive flames, Rhett is determined to clear his father’s bad name of being a bad cop and finding out who is responsible for blowing up the family home. Rhett is thrown together with his best friends little sister Ariel Simpson now a powerful CEO of her own computer company. Ariel thought she had gotten over her childhood crush on Rhett until they need to come together to save each other from someone evil. I have loved this whole series, every book has been brilliant and this one was no exception. The characters were lovable, strong and engaging. The sex was hot. The story line was full of twists and turns and threats that no-one could ever see coming, and it all concludes with a final visit from all the characters from the previous books. Very sad to see this series end.

They say size doesn’t matter…
Football star and internet sensation Gavin “Anaconda” Adams is the biggest celebrity our little town has ever seen.
But I had no idea who he was when I accidentally walked in on him naked.
I was shocked, seeing all of him, a cocky grin on his face. I didn’t know what to do.
So I ran.

But with one look, I go weak in the knees. And whenever I hear his deep, rich voice, I feel my defenses crumbling.
It’s only one night. What could it hurt?
Anaconda is a full-length Sexy Romantic Comedy with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger!
Football star Gavin Adams is trying out a little acting in his off season in the hope it will improve his playboy image and to get away from his nickname Anaconda that he acquired during a filmed slip up that showed the world his junk. While he’s filming he is staying at a local hotel where Brianna is working her way through business college as a maid, when Brianna accidentally walks in on a naked Gavin in his room one morning sparks fly between them and she gets to experience the anaconda first hand. This was quite a painful read as I should have realized by the immature title, the story line was a typical rich pro footballer meets poor maid and sweeps her off her feet which would have been alright if it wasn’t so boring. The sex was mediocre, and the characters were so boring and depressing. Others might like this book but unfortunately this was not for me.
Obsession By Nancy Chastain
I glanced up, and was filled with warmth and need all the way to my toes. Dillion was standing there, only in his boxers, arms crossed over his chest, causing his muscles to bulge. I swallowed hard, my mouth suddenly dry. He was gorgeous. When he touched me, I melted. I was in love with this man.
My God she is gorgeous, Dillion thought as he leaned against the door jamb and watched her hips sway to the music. At that moment, he knew he was in love with her.
She is mine. I watched over her as she slept. I had read her innermost thoughts. Sara will realize that she loves me, not Dillion. I will have her no matter what.
When legal assistant at a law firm in Oklahoma City Sara accidentally bumps into Dillion at a club one night she wanted to give him a piece of her mind, but she didn’t expect the instant chemistry that exploded between them that night and instead she ends up giving him a piece of her heart and they fall into an easy comfortable relationship until strange things start to happen around Sara making her feel uneasy and prey to an unknown stalker putting Dillion into protection mode he takes Sara away to his family ranch where their romance blossoms into love. I really like this book, it was such a sweet read. The characters were lovable and the story line interesting and engaging until the final twist that wasn’t expected.
