Pull Me Close By Sidney Halston

Pull Me Close By Sidney Halston

Katherine: I thought I could enjoy a night out like a normal person. I thought I could handle the flashing lights, the pulsing music, the crowded dance floor. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After having an anxiety attack and passing out during my sister’s engagement party at Panic, I wake up in the arms of the hottest guy I’ve ever seen. Nick Moreno’s no gentleman. But he might just be the man I need to help me take control of my life.

Nick: When I hear there’s some random girl passed out in the back room of my family’s South Beach nightclub, I’m pissed. My dad’s already behind bars and we can’t afford any more bad press. But after giving her a lift—literally—back to her apartment, I stop seeing Katherine Wilson as some random girl. She’s gorgeous, vulnerable, and braver than she knows. And when we kiss, all I want to do is pull her close and promise that she’ll always be safe in my arms.

Panic is a sultry Miami night club jointly owned by brothers Nico & Matt who are trying to get the club back on top after their fathers previous illegal dealings that put him in prison. Katherine suffers from severe anxiety caused by an iconic tragedy in her past that has caused her to live her life within the four walls of her apartment, until one night and with the help of some strong medication she manages to leave her apartment to attend her sisters engagement party that is being held at the night club Panic. But when her anxiety spikes and takes her over and she collapses in the club Nico decides to take her her home and for some uncontrollable reason is drawn to Katherine and her unfortunate situation and tries to help her deal with her anxiety. I really liked this story line it gave some understanding of what people suffering from anxiety disorders have to face every day and just how debilitating it can be for someone. Great characters, hot sex, love the growing romance and understanding between these two characters. Narrated by Aletha George & the sexy Joe Arden.

Hi Everyone I am so sorry it has been so long between blogging but between marketing and my normal every day job it has been a very hectic last few weeks. The Book is doing awesome and the reviews are out of the ball park I am so awestruck but it all. One of the best things that I have found about having a book published is how happy it is making everyone around me, lots of excited and proud people, lots of idea’s from everyone it has put a smile on so many people’s faces that it makes the experience x10 in magnitude. Ok well I am going to get back to getting down some more chapters as I like to burn the midnight oil… frequently. Cheers.

If happiness is a gift.
Then Cameron Stanton is my Santa Claus.

I can’t tell you the exact moment I fell in love with him.
Only that I did.
With every glance, every touch, every minute…. he stole a little more of me.

They say that all men are created equal.
Well that’s a blatant lie!

I know because I met Gods gift to women in Vegas,
I pretended he was my husband to get rid of another man.

He took our fake marriage seriously and it became his personal goal to consummate.
He spoke to me in French and I lied to him in German.

His laughter was addictive.

But I thought what happens in Vegas would stay in Vegas.

Until it didn’t.
Dr. Stanton turned up where I least expected and my lies came back to haunt me.

The attraction is palpable.
The secrets unchangeable.
I need him more than air.

Malentendido (Misunderstood) by Mara White is live!!!

Whatever force made Lucky, either God or the Universe, wrapped him so tightly around my heart that sometimes I’m suffocating. Biologically, we are made of too many similar parts, yet our chemistry is like a meteor shower, raining bright sparks of light into the dark night. But it’s not our biology or chemistry that worries me the most, it’s the physics of our love that goes against the cosmos.

Ripple Effect By Keri Lake

Ripple Effect By Keri Lake

They call me RIP.
I’m a killer. A murderer. A psychopath.
In the eyes of the righteous, I’m a monster, born of sin and depravity.
I want to protect her, but I’m not a good man.
I want to love her, but I no longer feel.
She gets under my skin, though, and has awakened something inside of me.
Something I’d kill for.
I’m not her savior—not even close. In fact, I’m worse than the hell she’s already suffered.
I’m her vengeance. Tit for tat, as they say.
And if she’s not careful, I’ll be her ruin.

For months, I’ve watched him.
I’ve fantasized him as my savior, my lover. My ticket out of the hell I’ve lived in for the last six years.
I never dreamed he’d be my nightmare.
Had I known what he really is, I’d have never gotten in the car that night, but life is full of cause and effect.
And sometimes the choice on offer isn’t a choice at all.
It’s the result of something already in motion, and we’re merely left to survive the ripple effect.

Cross Check By Kelly Jamieson

Cross Check By Kelly Jamieson

A party girl and a clean-cut college hockey player discover that they’re not so different in this sexy, soulful Bayard Hockey novel from the USA Today bestselling author of the Heller Brothers series.

“Kelly Jamieson is my go-to author for hockey romance.”—Jami Davenport

Ella Verran has three goals this semester: get off academic probation, repair her relationship with her friend Skylar, and take some responsibility for her life. All of which are hard enough without hot, snobby hockey player Ben Buckingham around to distract her. Ella can’t stand Ben, and she knows the feeling is mutual. But he’s best friends with Skylar’s boyfriend, so he’s always around—taunting and tempting Ella in ways she never thought possible.

As the star forward of the Bayard College hockey team, Ben has goals too, like playing well enough to land a spot on an NHL roster. Ben is perfectly poised on the ice, so why can’t he keep his cool around Ella? Her wild behavior rubs him in all the wrong ways—and a few of the right ones. But as they skate around each other, Ben learns that there’s more to Ella than her bad reputation. And when the line between love and hate starts to blur, he can’t resist crossing over and sweeping her off her feet.

REVIEW- Not Quite Perfect By Catherine Bybee

REVIEW- Not quite Perfect By Catherine Bybee

Mary Kildare knows how to read people. It’s both why she makes a great therapist and why she refuses to trust the average bachelor. Staying fiercely independent has been her primary relationship strategy—until wealthy playboy pilot (and commitmentphobe) Glen Fairchild reappears in her life. After a yearlong teasing tug-of-war, Mary and Glen test the waters of attraction, only to find that their physical chemistry runs deeper than flirtation.

At first, a bicoastal romance suits them both—especially since Glen can swoop in and whisk Mary away on one of his company’s planes. But no matter how close they get, they’re still three thousand miles apart. And when Mary’s life is threatened, Glen realizes the one luxury he doesn’t have is time. Can he close the distance between them before it’s too late?

Therapist Mary Kildare has lived a solitary and independent life although over the past year Mary has been having a kind of tug-of-war friendship with rich, playboy pilot Glen Fairchild. When their friendly banter starts to turn into something more serious they find themselves in a bi-coastal relationship flying back and forth between states spending time with each other. But when Mary’s safety is threatened by a mysterious stranger, Glen needs to protect her. I found this a very sweet romance between this couple, very easy with just a few small speed bumps, very likable characters with a very likable story line. Very expressive narration by Amy Mc Fadden.

REVIEW- Shacking Up By Helena Hunting

REVIEW- Shacking Up By Helena Hunting

Ruby Scott is months behind on rent and can’t seem to land a steady job. She has one chance to turn things around with a big audition. But instead of getting her big break, she gets sick as a dog and completely bombs it in the most humiliating fashion. All thanks to a mysterious, gorgeous guy who kissed—and then coughed on—her at a party the night before.

Luckily, her best friend might have found the perfect opportunity; a job staying at the lavish penthouse apartment of hotel magnate Bancroft Mills while he’s out of town, taking care of his exotic pets. But when the newly-evicted Ruby arrives to meet her new employer, it turns out Bane is the same guy who got her sick.

Seeing his role in Ruby’s dilemma, Bane offers her a permanent job as his live-in pet sitter until she can get back on her feet. Filled with hilariously awkward encounters and enough sexual tension to heat a New York City block, Shacking Up, from NYT and USA Today bestselling author Helena Hunting, is sure to keep you laughing and swooning all night long.

When talented theater performer Ruby Scott falls behind on her rent and loses a part in a show because she caught some bug off a stranger and is having a hard time getting a steady job she takes a job pet sitting for the mysterious sexy stranger who coughed on her and made her sick in the first place. Hotel magnate and ex rugby player Bancroft Mills mistakes Ruby for his date at his friends engagement party and accidentally kisses her making her sick and after learning of the troubled position he has put her in he feels guilty in playing a part in her misfortune and offers her a place to stay in his penthouse and a job looking after his strange pets while he’s away for 5 weeks. What follows is a blossoming romance built on long phone conversations and a powerful emotional connection between the two. I really like this it was a great read, the characters were very lovable, the story line was interesting and the slow building of the relationship was wonderful. Great narration by Rose Dioro & Jacob Morgan.
