BOOK REVIEW- Cuffed By K.Bromberg

BOOK REVIEW- Cuffed By K.Bromberg

BLURB

“I hate you. I never want to see you again.”

Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again.
Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past.
But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it.
What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right?

***

I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves.

That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up.
Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story.
I’ll give her the one night she asks for—like that’s a hardship—but when it comes to letting her walk away after, she has another thing coming. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go this time without a fight.

MY THOUGHTS

Emmy Reeves suffered a brutal childhood that saw her taken away from her home town and friends and put her and her mum on a gypsy like pathway growing up, Now Emmy has moved back to her childhood home of Sunnyville to try and settle down and put down some roots. Emmy has always loved the more exciting things in life and nothing clears her head more than jumping out of a plane and letting the wind blow away her troubles, that’s why she want’s to buy the local skydiving school, after being away from Sunnyville for the last twenty years Emmy finds not much has changed until she bumps into her old BFF Grant Malone who has certainly grown into a handsome, sexy police officer. This is a story of two childhood friends who were torn apart by brutality and try to reconnect now as adults. I loved it, the characters were exciting and lovable, the story line was interesting and very thought provoking and the sex was very hot. Just remember when your reading this K.Bromberg book to keep your head up and wings out.

BOOK REVIEW- Defiant Queen By Meghan March

BOOK REVIEW- Defiant Queen By Meghan March

BLURB

The Mount Trilogy continues with Defiant Queen

I’m his entertainment. His toy. Payment on a debt.
I tell myself I hate him, but every time he walks into the room, my body betrays me. How can I want him and fear him in the same moment?
They told me he’d mess with my head. Make it go to war with my body.
But I didn’t realize it would be complete anarchy.
I should’ve known better. When Mount’s involved, there are no rules.
I will not surrender. I will not show weakness. I’ll stand my ground and make it out of this bargain with my heart and soul intact.
But he has other plans . . .

Defiant Queen is the second book of the Mount Trilogy. Mount and Keira’s story concludes in Sinful Empire.

MY THOUGHTS

This is book 2 in this series that follows the growing relationship between the ruthless bad boy alpha Lockland Mount and seven sins distillery owner Keira Kilgore. I loved this book but kicked myself severely when it left me with a cliffhanger and a wait for the next book for a conclusion. This series is very dark and dirty but underneath the criminal activities is another story of trust, need and love that neither characters expected but how can a relationship survive in Mounts world?

BOOK REVIEW- Ruthless King By Meghan March

BOOK REVIEW- Ruthless King By Meghan March

BLURB

Get ready for the darker and dirtier side of New Orleans with a brand new alpha romance from USA Today bestselling author Meghan March.

New Orleans belongs to me.
You don’t know my name, but I control everything you see—and all the things you don’t.
My reach knows no bounds, and my demands are always met.
I didn’t need to loan money to a failing family distillery, but it amuses me to have them in my debt.
To have her in my debt.
She doesn’t know she caught my attention.
She should’ve been more careful.
I’m going to own her. Consume her. Maybe even keep her.
It’s time to collect what I’m owed.
Keira Kilgore, you’re now the property of Lachlan Mount.

*Ruthless King is book 1 of the Mount Trilogy. Mount and Keira’s story is anticipated to be completed in Fall 2017 with Defiant Queen and Sinful Empire

MY THOUGHTS

Lockland Mount is a part of the darker side of New Orleans, he controls everyone and everything he wants, no-one will ever deny his demands and he wants the CEO of 7 Sinners distillery Keira Kilgore, and now he has control over her body and soul until she pays off the outstanding debt her dead asshole of a husband left her with. I am a huge fan of Meghan March but I must admit this one was a hard one to get into in the beginning due to the harsh, alpha, dominant way he treats Keira, but the more I kept reading the more interesting the story line and characters became and the sex in this is very dirty and hot.

MOVIE REVIEW- Passionflix Afterburn/Aftershock

MOVIE REVIEW- Passionflix Afterburn/Aftershock

Well I’m not sure where to start with this one, I read the book and loved it so much that I was really looking forward to watching this movie and how disappointed was I. The story line wasn’t even there if you had not read the book you wouldn’t even know what it was about. The male lead character was too young it needed a MAN to play the part or at least cut his hair for christ’s sake and his acting, holy shit was it bad. The female lead character was ok, the sex was nothing to write home about either all over this was terrible and it makes me really sad to think that this company is going to produce the Driven series by K.Bromberg I don’t think I could bare to watch it get butchered.

MOVIE REVIEW- Passionflix Hollywood Dirt

MOVIE REVIEW- Passionflix Hollywood Dirt

This wasn’t too bad of a made for TV movie, the story line was ok, the male lead was ok but the female lead looked so plastic and fake with duck lips to boot it just ruined it for me, but I guess the movies are never as good as the books, the sex was pretty hot in this one, very sensual. So over all a little bit sickly sweet for my taste but good for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
